Intake
The intake meeting will take place eight to six weeks before your due date.
Some three months before that date, you will receive an invitation to the intake meeting via e-mail or a letter. It will take place at your home and one of our staff will discuss the following points with you, so you will know what to expect:
- our way of working
- how you can reach us and when
- what exactly the maternity nurse will do for you and your newborn child
- determining the number of hours of maternity care according to the LIP protocol
- where your delivery will take place and what will be needed for it
- how you will want to feed your child
- information on safe sleeping conditions
- discussing your own contribution as regulated by law
- information on the Arbo health and safety regulations
- discussing your personal wishes and any other maternity care-related matter
